About/bio
Kia ora, ko Hae Min tōku ignoa. He kairokiroki taonga waituhi ahau i Te Papa me kei te noho au ki Pōneke. I have a range of structural and aesthetic treatment experience for painted surfaces such as Italian gold ground panels; Dutch, Flemish, and French genre scenes on panels and canvas; American, Austrian, and British portraits on canvas; Southeast Asian paintings on cloth/silk, and Ethiopian icons, all spanning from the fourteenth to the twentieth century. I am passionate about technical art history and keen to learn new analytical methods; I am particularly excited by the prospect of investigating more into New Zealand artists' materials and techniques. I trained at the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University, the Worcester Art Museum, and the Walters Art Museum.
