About/bio
Staphany Cheng is a textile conservator from Tāmaki Makaurau, currently based at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum with over 7 years of experience working in heritage institutions in the USA, UK, Taiwan and New Zealand in conservation, collections care, collections management, art preparation/installation and visitor engagement.
Research interests include localised cleaning with gels and viscosity modifiers, conservation education and community outreach.
