Nau mai haere mai ki Tauranga Moana!
The NZCCM is hosting its annual conference in Tauranga Moana from September 18th to 20th, 2024. The first two days will feature keynote speakers, papers, and panels with an emphasis on the theme of “Navigating Conservation Challenges in Aotearoa New Zealand.” On the third day, there will be a field trip to sites between Tauranga and Waihi Beach, focusing on coastline changes and impacts to archaeology.
The conference will take place at the Historic Village, a vibrant community hub that includes historic buildings, retail shops, cafes, and theatres. This marks the first time the NZCCM has hosted its conference in Tauranga, providing an ideal opportunity to explore New Zealand’s fifth-largest and fastest-growing city.
We look forward to welcoming you to Tauranga Moana!
